If you are touring the Okanagan, See ya Later Ranch is must vist.  Not only are the wines great quality and value, but the view is stunning.  Looks north towards Penticton with a breath taking view of Skaha Lake.

Chardonnay 2007

$18

When your goal is to create a big boned chardonnay with lots of oak and you pull it off successfully, then all those ABC'ers can stick their unoaked wine up their you know what.  Its actually quite entertaining to watch people saddle up to a tasting bar and refuse the chardonnay simply because they don't like oak.  I say good on 'ya, more for me.  This wine has sexy oak, good clear apple with some caramel ice cream to give that silky smooth finish.  One of the best valued oaky chards on the market.

Gewurztraminer 2007

$17

Clean, simple, fun, reliable, but overall a bit boring.  Muddled aromatics showing some grass, grilled pineapple, gooseberry, and lemon rind.  Balanced acidity with some tangerine and soap.  Overall a nice bottle of wine,  just not cranking up the excitement meter.  Enjoyed with Vietnamese salad rolls and roasted chicken and black bean lettuce wraps.
