2002 Cab Franc Reserve |

The color showed very little aging and the nose jumped out of the glass with ripe black fruits, leather, smoke and cocoa powder. The untamed alcohol lead the palate with similar dark fruits and a leathery smoky finish. I was impressed with its strength and youthfulness. If anyone is still sitting on some of this you have another three to five years easily. This wine paired well with some sundried olive and mint burgers I made. |
